Downloading ISO files from fast servers, which I do a lot, I can download 3 CDs in less than 40 minutes on cable, where on ADSL it was 4-6 hours - Even on the 4.0 DSL it's 1-2 hours, which is a fair bit slower than a cable connection. We don't have cable TV hooked up though, just the internet.
